  3.                     STEPS FOR THIS SETUP PROCEDURES:
  4.                     ================================
  5.  
  6.   1. Your Frontend Mailer must already be installed and running.
  7.      I also have various documentations on setting-up Mailers.
  8.  
  9.   2. Make sure all the needed fileareas are setup on your BBS.
  10.  
  11.   3.  To get started, you need to download the Allfix! program files from
  12.       any BBS close to you. 
  13.  
  14.     (i) For Wildcat! BBS setup, you need a shareware copy of Allfix! v1.10+ 
  15.         for Wildcat! BBS, or higher version when available.
  16.         Filename:  AFX!110E.ZIP   Filesize: 679k
  17.         Available on my BBS for first time caller download and can be
  18.         FREQ from my system at 1:278/111 with above filename or
  19.         MagicName of: ALLFIXWC
  20.  
  21.    (ii) For All other BBS setup, you need a shareware copy of Universal 
  22.         Allfix! v4.33, or higher version when available.
  23.         Filename:  AFIX433.ZIP   Filesize: 756k
  24.         Available on my BBS for first time caller download and can be
  25.         FREQ from my system at 1:278/111 with above filename or
  26.         MagicName of: ALLFIX
  27.  
  28.   4.  Read the README.TXT and AFIXSET.TXT files that included with this 
  29.       setup documentation package and follow all the instructions.
  30.       Print all the necessary documentations for handy reference.
  31.  
  32.   5.  Install your Allfix! v1.10 for Wildcat! in a directory called
  33.       \ALLFIX, example: C:\ALLFIX and then create or make the following 
  34.       sub-directories under the above \ALLFIX directory.
  35.       Our example is using drive C: but you can subsitute this for any
  36.       drive you intend to use, just make sure all the directory name
  37.       are the same... you can change the drive letter reference later.
  38.       Uncompress the TEMPLATE.ZIP or TEMPLATE.RAR etc that came in Allfix
  39.       program package into C:\ALLFIX\TEMPLATE\ directory.

  41.       Make the following sub-directories:

  43.             C:\ALLFIX\
  44.             C:\ALLFIX\TICS-OUT\
  45.             C:\ALLFIX\FILE-OUT\
  46.             C:\ALLFIX\AFIX-REC\
  47.             C:\ALLFIX\BAD-TICS\
  48.             C:\ALLFIX\AFIXDUPE\
  49.             C:\ALLFIX\AUTO-ADD\
  50.             C:\ALLFIX\TAGFILES\
  51.             C:\ALLFIX\TEMP\
  52.             C:\ALLFIX\TEMPLATE\
  53.             C:\ALLFIX\BILLINGS\
  54.             C:\ALLFIX\OLD-BILL\

  56.   6.  Copy over all the files in this archive into the C:\ALLFIX directory 
  57.       and overwrite any setup file(s) you already have in this directory. 
  58.       The batch files with *.BAT extension may need editing or modifications.
  59.       Then start ASETUP.EXE in C:\ALLFIX directory to modify your settings.

  110.   7.  Adjust or modify the batch files (BASIC4.BAT & AFIXTOSS.BAT) 
  111.       enclosed in this packaged so as to fit or suit your drive letter 
  112.       and sub-directory setup of your system.
  113.  
  114.       AFIXTOSS.BAT --> This is the batch file you will run to make Allfix
  115.                        toss your files each time you receive files from
  116.                        your HUB. You will need to incorporate this batch
  117.                        into the batch file that starts your Frontend Mailer,
  118.                        so that it will run automatically when you poll your
  119.                        HUB and receive files.
  120.  
  121.           Note: If you are using Planet Connect, you may need to modify
  122.                 AFIXTOSS.BAT to move the files from your Planet Connect
  123.                 inbound/received files directory to the \ALLFIX\INBOUND\
  124.                 directory, or you can just point your Inbound Files path
  125.                 directory in Allfix filenames/path setup to the actual
  126.                 Planet Connect Inbound directory.
  127.  
  128.       BASIC4.BAT --> This batch file ONLY need to be run when you want to
  129.                      fix your database. You do not need to run this batch
  130.                      file unless you want to fix your database.
  131.                      I have enclosed this for sample purposes only.
  132.                      I personally run this batch file whenever I make any
  133.                      changes to my Allfix setup with ASETUP.EXE but it's
  134.                      not neccessary unless your database is corrupted or
  135.                      you need to re-index your database.
  136.  
  137.   8.  If you are running regular or universal Allfix for other BBS software
  138.       you may want to change the color of your Allfix to the regular color
  139.       by selecting System Data, then Miscellaneous, then ASETUP colors, 
  140.       then Homrighausen, and save your setting. Then you should exit
  141.       ASETUP.EXE totally and then restart ASETUP.EXE and you should have
  142.       the regular Allfix setup colors.
  143.       This setup files will come with Wildcat! BBS default color setup and
  144.       you may not like this. If you are running Wildcat! BBS, do nothing!.
  145.  
  146.   9.  For those running universal Allfix for other BBS setup, (not Wildcat!)
  147.       you must first run FCOMP.EXE to import your fileareas from your BBS
  148.       into Allfix database. Below is the help capture by running FCOMP /?
